What do I mean “Doing it the Hard Way”?

Do you get “those” phone calls?

I see that you are in Network Marketing or you have been.

I got a phone call from a pleasant young lady who asked me that question.

She said that she was in pre-launch and asked if she could send me a 21 minute video to see if this was something that I would like to do.

As she was polite and friendly, I agreed.

She was well trained in the method as she asked when would be a good time to followup with me and we set an appointment for 2 days out. When she emailed me the link, she mentioned that she would have her expert on the phone with her.

Now that sounds logical right?

Why do I say that she is doing it the hard way?

First, let’s discuss one point. This was a sales call. She was telling me what she had.

Did she ask me what I was looking for? NO.

We all listen to our personal radio station WHIIFM (What’s in it for me).

What if she was to first find out what I wanted?

Maybe she could find that there was something that I wanted that her business could provide?

My point is about the hard way is to have people asking you what you have versus you having to sell them on your offer.

It is called Pull Marketing rather than Push Marketing.

How would you feel having people reaching out to you rather than you chasing them.

Chasing them is the Hard Way!

Having folks chasing you is a lot easier, and a whole lot more fun.
