What’s that, Leave your baggage at the door?
OK, we all have baggage, right?
By baggage, I mean stupid things we have done, regrets of things we have said or done, loved ones we have hurt (can I stop here?)
But that was yesterday and you don’t have to live there.
How can I actually “leave my baggage at the door”?
The answer to leaving your baggage is in two parts:

Forgive others
- Unforgiveness is a heavy burden
- Carrying this burden blocks your blessings
- Unforgiveness is like a poison your drink hoping that the other person dies
- The Lord’s Prayer: please forgive me as I forgive others
- If you want to be forgiven, you must forgive others
- Forgiving others relieves you of a huge pressure, you are now free!

Forgive yourself
- This may be harder than the first, forgiving others
- Not forgiving yourself leads to negative thoughts and self-talk to yourself
- This forms the real baggage that is holding you back
- If you are a follower of Jesus, he tells you to repent, turn to him, and he will carry all your burdens
- If you gave your burdens to Jesus, why are you still carrying them – LET THEM GO?
OK, leave your baggage at the door. Why “at the door”?
- Today, you are standing at the door to your future
- Will you hold on to the baggage of the past, or will you walk unimpeded into your future
- I wish for you a great future, and this is how I recommend that you start
