“It’s simple, you need your paycheck”

…says the brochure

Also stated is “Your paycheck provides the foundation for life as you know it. It allows you to meet your financial obligations, save for the future, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures….”

I have no argument with the basic premise, as the brochure was related to taking out a disability insurance policy to cover you for short term disability issues where you may lose your paycheck income for a period of time.

Now, it does make sense to be protected so that you and your family don’t suffer in the event of your disability.

BUT, what if there was a better way?

• What if you replaced your paycheck before you had a disruption?
• What if you didn’t have to work about the security of your paycheck, maybe having that JOB as you enjoyed doing it rather than having to do it?
• What if you are concerned about retiring, and this secondary income meant that you no longer needed a paycheck?

What if you didn’t have to go to a “bad job”?

How would you feel:

• If you didn’t have to worry about losing your paycheck?
• If you didn’t have to work a JOB you hated?
• If you didn’t have concerns about your retirement?
• If you could live where you wanted, rather than where your JOB said?

What if there was a way?

• You could replace your income while you were still working?
• You could have enough for retirement?
• You could take these vacations that you have been putting off due to time and money?
• You could live where you wanted?

What I found when I lost my paycheck:

I was fired from my JOB, when JOBs for seniors were scarce.

I started working for my self, instead of a boss.

I gained control over my time, and my money.
