Out with the old to make room for the new
What does “out with the old” mean to you?
- it could be artificial respiration, help you expel old air in order to take in fresh air
- it could relate to cleaning out your closet, removing clothes that don’t fit or you don’t wear any more
Could it apply to other areas of your life?
Maybe it’s time for us to take a look at “out with the old to make room for the new” in other areas of our life?
My personal goal is to eliminate activities that don’t more me towards my life goals
- taking up my valuable time with no real benefit
- taking up my money with no real payback.
Have you agreed to activities (meetings, activities etc) in your past that no longer serve who you want to become today?
Do you have dues and subscriptions for services that no longer serve you in becoming the new you?
- cable or satellite TV?
- streaming services (Netflix etc.)
- training resources (at least in my case)
By eliminating stuff that doesn’t contribute to getting you to where you want to go, you are freeing up time and money to do what will move you forward to your goals.
I am speaking to myself here as well.
- I have clothes in my closet I should donate
- I support causes that have changed direction to become more like the world and less like God
- I signed up for monthly and annual payments for stuff that used to apply and now doesn’t
- training services
- networking groups
- newsletter subscriptions
What could be a better time?

Why Now?
I have ambitious plans to make some life and lifestyle changes in 2022, to propel Barbara and I into another direction, to better Lasso our Dream Retirement Lifestyle.
Goodbye to stuff that no longer serves to make way for more important stuff.
