How can I measure what I am worth?
- Is it what I own? My toys? My house? My bank account?
- Is it what I know? My degrees? My acquired skills? Courses I have taken?
- Is it my JOB? My position? My Rank?
What defines my worth?
That’s a great question!
I propose to define your worth in this way: “Your worth is determined by the price someone is willing to pay (or what they are willing to give up) to have you in their life“.
What if that is too low?
- Or, what can I do to increase my worth?
- Increasing the value of what you provide others will increase what they are willing to pay, thereby increasing your worth.
- You need to become more to attract more (Jim Rohn)
How to I do that? How do I increase the value I provide?
- Find out what people want and give it to them.
- Here is one effective method:
- Learn a skill
- Apply that skill
- Teach others what you have learned
This is the Learn-Do-Teach method that, when applied, will increase your value to the marketplace.
If that makes sense to you, I say “Go Do It”.
And if you feel that I have provided value to you, which is my intent, please feel free to Like, Share, and Comment.
