What should I do today?
Are you stuck with a long to-do list, little time to get at it, and becoming stressed?
Perhaps it is time for you to take a breath, and prioritize your next actions.
Here are two actions that will move you towards less stress and more results.
First, take a look at that list (and I hope it is a written list).
Identify the items that “Matter” – these are items that will affect where you will be a year from now – in business, in family, in your relationship with your Creator.
Now, today will bring you new items, from somebody else’s list. Some you will have to deal with, but NOT all.
Second, pick at least one or two items that will positively affect your future and Take Action today!
What can I do today to make tomorrow better?
This evening, I suggest that you review 2 major items:
- What is important to you (Values = Faith, Family, Business or Job, Community etc)

Take a look at your list and identify those items that will make a difference in moving you toward your goals, in line with your values

Identify the list items that don’t contribute to where you want to be a year from now, and delegate, delete, or postpone.

Highlight a couple of key items for tomorrow (HINT – pick the least desirable to tackle first, so you don’t postpone it entirely – I suggest you read Brian Tracy’s “Eat That Frog”)
Tomorrow:
In the morning, wake up refreshed and look forward to actions that will make a difference, not only today, but for the rest of your life.
