2 Life Lessons that Katy has taught me
Yes, we can learn from our dogs, sometimes I believe they train us as much as we train them…
First Life Lesson: Expectancy
Katy expects things to happen:
- when we go out for lunch, she heads for the door when Barbara picks up her purse
- it is hard to get out to the car without her
- when we stop the car for lunch, she jumps into the front seat, onto Barbara’s lap, with her nose up to the window expecting to be taken with us
This carries over into our personal and business lives.
- If we expect things to happen, our subconscious is alert for situations that can help bring our expectations to completion
- If we expect good things to happen, we will be in a more positive mindset and attract these good things to us
- The downside is if you expect bad things to happen, you will draw them to you as well (ouch)
- Like with Katy who has positive expectations of coming with us, we are more likely to fulfill her expectations, and that will work for you too.
- On a more spiritual basis, if you expect that Jesus is going to return for us, we will then hear the call. Maybe if you aren’t expecting Him to return for you, you will not hear the call?
Second Life Lesson: Persistance
When Katy expects things to happen, she persists in “motivating” us to make sure they actually happen.
- Ask and you shall receive
- Don’t ask? Well, I think you know that answer
Action and persistence could be considered as a cure for procrastination.
How would your life be better is you were more persistent in getting what you want and were willing to go after with persistence? Just imagine how great your life could be…..
Bonus Life Lesson: Be Cute!
No seriously, that’s not it… Although it works for her.
Bonus Life Lesson: Learn to relax!
Katy has mastered the art of relaxation, much better than Barbara and I.
Kind of gives you something to strive for, doesn’t it?
How much more could you get done if you learned to relax more, and recharge your batteries for when you need the energy?
Hopefully you find the 2 Life Lessons Learned from My Dog to be of value, and please share if you agree.
Have a blessed day!
