Is your life plan working like you thought?

John says most of us are on a 45 year life plan.

I was at a meeting today and my friend John said many people all signed up for the 45 year plan.

So I thought about it – start working at 20 and retire at 65, got it, 45 years.

That sounds a little harsh, but what else did John say?

And have you thought about your life plan lately?

life planWell John said that most people working the 45 year plan figure on retiring at 65 with enough money to do what they have always wanted to do.

So I googled “45 year plan” and found lots of stuff, including this graph.

Not a bad observation from John, a 28 year old, but unfortunately we seniors sure knew what John was talking about

Don’t you agree that seems to be over simplified?

Heck, do you know anybody with bad health that can’t do anything at 65 except exist?

What is your idea of a life plan at 65?

For me, a plan for age 65 needs to get me to my dream retirement lifestyle.

And what does that mean? For me, that means freedom!

And for me freedom means having health, time, and money – all at the same time.

What would your life look like if you had the health (energy) and the money to do what you want, and the time to do it when you want?

For me, ahhh – freedom.

And what floats your boat?

life planAs a senior, I have been blessed with health, and money, and I am working on time.

Well, even I am a work-in-progress – grin.

What does that mean for you – how does your dream retirement lifestyle plan look against what you planned when you were forty something.

Hopefully, just great.

My mission is to help other senior, boomers, seenagers, or whatever we want to be called, to find their combination of health, time , and money.

In fact, I plan to rework my website to better express my mission (well I said I am a work-in-progress) You are inviting to drop by and comment, maybe motivate me to move faster even?

If you know of someone who is looking for ideas on how they can get from where they are to where they want to be, have them connect with me HERE and let’s talk.

Maybe we can even make better plans together, right?

Life was meant to be lived it’s more fun with friends on the same journey.

Wishing the best for you, and God bless!
