Seniorhood – Having an Attitude of Gratitude

Ron McLean, the Dream Roper

What does having an “Attitude of Gratitude” mean to you?

“In all things, give thanks”

Ron McLean, the Dream Roper

We talked about vision and goals earlier, and it’s alright to want more. That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be grateful for what you have now.

I believe that having a desire for more, yet being grateful for what you have, is not inconsistent. Expressing gratitude daily serves to strengthen your faith, and provides for a more positive attitude.

Complaining steals the joy from your life and as we live in the greatest country in the world, we all have a lot to be thankful for.

“If you want more, show gratitude for what you have”.  Just be grateful for what you have in reaching for more!

I am wishing you an attitude of gratitude, as you move towards your goals.

Be blessed,
Ron

Gratitude is deeply crucial in getting any success. In my native tribe, the Yoruba tribe, in Nigeria, we have an adage that says ‘He who gives thanks for yesterday’s favour, will have another cause to give thanks today’.
Gratitude is essential to opening the doors of blessings and favour. . .and business too.

Great post! This is one of my favorite topics. I think if more people had an attitude of gratitude there would be a lot less unhappy people in this world. It’s so important to be grateful for what you have now. When you’re happy and grateful for what you have, then and only then, can you be trusted with more!
